WHAT IS A SUSTAINER?
A Sustainer is a donor whose monthly contribution is given by automatic direct debit of a credit card. The contribution can also be sent electronically as a check from a bank account to WJCT.
There are no monthly reminders or balances to carry forward. Sustainers enjoy automatic renewals, special gifts and end-of-year tax information for their financial records.
WHAT IS A PLEDGE?
A pledge is a donation to WJCT for support of Radio or Television programming. You can support both. The pledge may be made with cash, credit card or check.
WJCT depends on its listeners and viewers to help pay for the cost of National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcasting System (PBS) programming. Support from donors allows WJCT to broadcast without interruption and commercial-free.
HOW DOES MY PLEDGE APPEAR IN MY BANK STATEMENT?
Credit card charges will appear or may include WJCT, BB or BLACKBAUD MERC
HOW MAY I SEE A HISTORY OF ALL THE DONATIONS THAT I’VE MADE?
Donors may review the history of all their donations by clicking the Log-in link.
They provide a private User ID and password at the Log In screen so that they may access and edit their accounts.

DOES MY PLEDGE PAY FOR THE THANK-YOU GIFT?
Yes, the pledge pays for the Thank-you gift.
Once the thank-you gift is paid, the remainder of the pledge supports WJCT programming. This remaining amount is called the Charitable Contribution and is reported to the donor by mail on WJCT letterhead.
NOTE: Pledges without thank-you gifts support WJCT 100%.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE THANK-YOU GIFT?
Thank you gifts will be received 4-6 weeks once the pledge is Paid-in-Full. This time allows for delivery to WJCT, product inspection and delivery to the caller.
WHEN WILL MY EVENT TICKETS ARRIVE?
The event promoter sends the tickets to WJCT 1 month before the concert. WJCT assigns the tickets to each individual pledge in chronological order, the order in which the call was received. Afterwards confirmation letters are sent with the tickets enclosed.
HOW IS EVENT SEATING ASSIGNED?
Event seating is assigned on a First-come, First-served basis.
Each pledge call is sorted chronologically, specifically by date, hour and minute the call was received. The tickets are sorted from the front rows to the back. The tickets are then assigned in order from the front row to the first caller in line.
I’VE LOST MY TICKETS. WHAT CAN I DO?
Contact WJCT whenever tickets are lost, stolen or misplaced. WJCT will provide a replacement for your tickets. These replacements are available with proper identification of the recipient prior to the event.
WHY DO YOU NEED MY E-MAIL ADDRESS?
E-mail addresses are used to immediately send receipts when a donor’s credit card is processed. Donors may also provide an e-mail address to receive WJCT’s newsletter in order to keep up with programming or receive advance notice of upcoming events.
IS THE INFORMATION I PROVIDE SHARED WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS?
WJCT NEVER shares information with any other organization.
